Narrative:
Unit one was southbound approaching Gateway Commerce Drive. The driver of unit one stated that she swerved to avoid a metal object in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle. Unit one went off the left side of the roadway and into the grassy median and overturned. Unit one entered the northbound lanes of traffic and was struck on the passenger side by the front of unit two. At some point during the crash passenger one was ejected from unit one.

Crash reconstruction officers were called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

No citations have been issued at this time.
