Illinois State Police - Road Conditions

COLLINSVILLE, IL - As of 11:15 a.m. District 11 Troopers have handled 15 crashes and two to three times as many pull-outs since the morning commute. All of the crashes have been property damage only. There have been no reports of injuries.

Here's the current road conditions for some of the Metro-East:
Most state routes are slushy/snow covered.
IL-255 Right lane is clear.
I-64 PSB through Fairview Heights - all lanes are pretty clear. The rest of I-64 is clearing with slick spots.
I-255 Two of the three lanes are clear.
I-270 Lanes are clear.
I-55/70 from PSB to I-270 is clear.
I-55 north of I-270 one lane clear with some slick spots.
I-70 east of I-55 one lane clear with some slick spots.
WATCH ENTRANCE/EXIT RAMPS AND BRIDGES, THEY MAY STILL BE SLICK.
TROOPERS ARE REPORTING SOME UNEXPECTED ICY PATCHES ON WHAT APPEAR TO BE CLEAR ROADS.
