Narrative: Unit #1 and Unit #3 were traveling westbound on St. Clair Avenue at 70th Street. Unit #2 was traveling eastbound on St. Clair Avenue at 70th Street. Unit #1 was traveling at a very high rate of speed, went out of control, crossed over across the center turn lane, and struck Unit #2 head on. The front seat passenger of Unit #1, Brendal, was ejected from the vehicle, and was later flown to St. Louis University Hospital by ARCH. Unit #1's engine block became detached from the vehicle and struck Unit #3. Unit #2 caught fire from the collision. The driver of Unit #2, Rose, was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Clair County Coroner. Alcohol was a factor in this traffic crash, and the crash investigation is ongoing.
