Narrative:


Unit 2 (a van) was traveling north on Interstate 255 in the center lane
from milepost 4. Unit 1(a motorcycle), driven by Mueller, was traveling
north on Interstate 255 approaching Unit 2. According to witnesses, Unit 1
was traveling at a very high rate of speed. Unit 1 struck the rear end of
Unit 2. Mueller was thrown from his motorcycle, and both he and the
motorcycle skidded a few hundred feet down the roadway. The motorcycle
caught on fire, and was completely burnt. Mueller was seriously injured,
and was taken to St Anthony's Hospital for treatment. Mueller was wearing
his helmet at the time of the crash. Mueller was cited for Driving Under
The Influence Of Alcohol and Failure To Reduce Speed To Avoid An Accident.
No one else was injured from the crash.
