COLLINSVILLE, IL (February 17, 2011) - Illinois State Police District 11 is attempting to locate and arrest Nathan Yarbough, age 39, of St. Louis, Missouri. On Wednesday, February 16, 2011, the St. Clair County States Attorney's office charged Yarbough with one count of Obstructing a Police Officer, bond on the arrest warrant was set at $30,000. On February 9, 2011, at 2:10 a.m., Yarbough was stopped by an Illinois State Police trooper for a traffic violation. Yarbough fled on foot after the trooper requested he perform field sobriety tests. One of the assisting troopers was injured while conducting a ground search for Yarbough. It was also determined Yarbough has two outstanding arrest warrants for failure to appear on traffic charges and his Illinois Driver's License was suspended. Anyone with information on Yarbough is asked to call Illinois State Police at 618-346-3627, or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
