COLLINSVILLE, IL - During the overnight hours District 11 Trooper handled 14 crashes and 20 pull-outs. Right now things are pretty quiet but that could change quickly with the morning commute.

Currently the Illinois State Police is NOT handling any crashes NOR are any of the interstates closed/blocked.

If you do not have to get out this morning please don't, but if you do have to leave the house, please remind the public to allow for more time to get to their destination and to be patient.

Some things to check before you leave the house:
Make sure you have a full tank of gas.
Make sure your cell phone is fully charged.
Take a blanket and/or additional warm clothes.
