Narrative: Unit #1 was traveling eastbound of I-55/70/64 at mile post #1.
Unit #1 went off the roadway to the right for unknown reasons. Unit #1
struck the ditch, overturned, and rolled several times. The driver of Unit
#1, Alonzo B. Stuckey, was not wearing his seatbelt, and was ejected.
Unit #1 came to rest on it's roof in the westbound lanes of I-55/70/64.
St. Clair County Deputy Coroner Becker declared Stuckey dead at the scene.
