Illinois State Police Traffic Alert
The Following Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 11
WHAT: Due to construction, the I-270 river bridge reduced to one lane in both directions.
WHERE: I-270 on the river bridge
WHEN: Until approximately noon (12:00 p.m.) on Thursday, October 4.
PRELIMINARY: Due to construction, the I-270 river bridge is currently reduced to one lane in both directions. Lane reductions will remain in effect until approximately noon (12:00 p.m.) on Thursday, October 4. Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route or allow for more time if traveling on I-270 between Illinois and Missouri.
