Illinois State Police Announce Results of Alcohol Countermeasure
Enforcement Surveillance Details
Collinsville IL ? Illinois State Police Zone 6 officers conducted Alcohol
Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) surveillance at various establishments
during the evening hours of Friday, October 19, 2012, in St. Clair County.
The purpose of these ACE details is to determine which businesses may be
selling alcoholic beverages to minors (persons under 21 years of age).
A total of 19 locations were surveyed in Cahokia, Sauget,
O?Fallon, Lebanon, and Mascoutah. Of those businesses; Walgreens, 1201
Camp Jackson Rd, Cahokia; Phillips 66 Gas Station, 2400 Mississippi Ave,
Sauget; Best Stop, 2001 Camp Jackson Rd, Cahokia; and Mobil, 9221 Beller
Drive, Mascoutah, were involved in the sale of an alcoholic beverage to a
minor. Store employees Dorian A Luster, Sylena J Sergerson, Tamer Z
Jarabara, and William C Wolff, were arrested for Unlawful Delivery of
Alcoholic Liquor to a Minor, a Class A misdemeanor. All were released
pending a notice to appear in court. The public is reminded that charges
are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent unless
proven guilty. This project was funded by the Illinois Department of
Transportation, Division of Traffic Safety.
Employees at the following establishments are to be commended for
not selling alcohol to a minor after asking for identification:

Casey?s, 908 S. Madison, Lebanon
